A South Carolina man was killed at a Lowe’s Home Improvement Store in south Charlotte on Sunday.

The accident happened in a warehouse next to Lowe’s where customers are not allowed.

This is the second workplace fatality at a Lowe’s store in less than a month. On May 20 a Lowe’s employee died when he was pinned between a delivery truck and a trailer. He was airlifted to a local hospital in Enterprise, AL where he later died from his injuries

Police homicide detectives are investigating, as are investigators from the N.C. Department of Labor, which enforces workplace safety.
